Booking

A booking can be made either online or through direct contact. Your booking will be accepted when you receive receipt for a particular group walk or when Moontown has issued an invoice for your private walk at which point and on which date the contract for your tour shall come into existence. Full payment must be received for a tour to be confirmed. You may pay by one of the following methods: (1) By credit/debit card, (2) PayPal, or (3) By bank transfer. Please note that you will need to cover all the costs for transfer.

 

ConFirmation of bookinG

By completing the booking online or through direct contact, you agree that all written communications with you by Moontown Walking Travel will be made by email to the address specified. Bookings will be confirmed by email after payment is received. Receipts will be sent only on request. Agents – please ensure you send a copy of these Terms and Conditions and the booking confirmation to your group leaders.

Cancellation

Moontown group walks can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the walk with an 80% refund. Within 48 hours all reservations are final and cannot be refunded. Cancellations within three business days need to be made directly with our local office by calling them directly. Cancellations made via email or and by calling our number may not be honored. If a private booking is cancelled, after payment has been taken and the tour confirmed we do not provide a refund for this payment. We will inevitably turn down other bookings to do this so any other system would not be viable. For a change of date and/or time where possible, this will be made, subject to a reasonable proximity to the tour (maximum 7 days). A date or time change is subject to our availability. All walks are held rain or shine with some variations to accommodate the weather. If you are running late we ask that you call to alert us. No shows are treated as last minute cancellations and are non-refundable.

Limitation of liability

Except as set out in these Terms and Conditions, all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this contract. Moontown Walking Travel acts as an agent for your guide and it shall under no circumstances whatever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising under or in connection with your tour. Nothing of this conditions shall limit or exclude liability of Moontown Walking Travel for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
